COURSE: DANCE
QUALIFICATION: LEVEL 3 EXTENDED NATIONAL DIPLOMA
CONTACT HOURS: 25+ PER WEEK

Our Level 3 Extended National Diploma Dance course provides students with a comprehensive training in all aspects of dance. Our aim is to produce highly skilled, creative dancers, with fantastic technique.

The BTEC course, which is equivalent to 3 A Levels, offers core skills in a range of dance genres, supplemented by supporting subjects that enhance the students skill set.

This ensures the highest chance of success upon completion of their course, in whichever path they wish their career to take. This is achieved by our rigorous curriculum, with a high number of contact hours, taught by industry professionals in our own purpose built studios.

The course will give students the necessary technical, creative and performance experiences they require, enabling them to move onto a professional degree level course or progress to a Level 4 qualification.

As with our other courses, performance opportunities take place throughout the year where students can apply the performance skills they have learnt in our annual show and with appearances at our local theatre. Going through audition processes and vocational training will give our students the skills required for their final showcase.

Our dance students will be supported to think about what vocational schools or universities they aspire to gain a place at and will receive help from their tutors at The PAD.
